Introducing roster vacancies

In the last twelve months, we have really put a significant focus on enhancing the capability of our Rostering feature.

Given the size and complexity of our clients’ operations, we have been making a number of improvements to simplify the rostering process, while still being able to cater for a number of scenarios, teams, projects and permission levels.

Some of the great features we have added to Rostering in the last year include;

  • Drag ‘n’ drop functionality
  • Copy, edit and delete entire rows of shifts
  • Assign employees to multiple shifts at once
  • Update a shift’s job costing within the roster

Now that it is even easier to manage multiple rosters in Definitiv at one time, the newly added roster vacancies feature was a natural progression. The new roster vacancies screen allows managers with large teams and multiple rosters to see the upcoming vacant shifts across all their rosters.

Roster vacancies

When you are dealing with multiple departments, teams or projects, it can be difficult to keep track of your resourcing. Especially if you are trying to juggle a number of rosters on-the-go. Our new roster vacancies feature makes it easier for managers to see where in their operations they still need to allocate resources, on the one screen.

On the new roster vacancies screen, you can filter the outstanding vacancies you want to see by roster and/or role; so you only have to view the information you need.
